ALPHA  is a short course in Christianity and is for anyone  that wants to explore the Christian faith.  It is relaxed, non-threatening, low key, friendly and fun. The course is for anyone wanting to investigate Christianity, new Christians, newcomers to the church and for those wanting to brush up on the basics. There is a light meal together at the beginning of each session, followed by an entertaining video and group discussion.  Topics include: Christianity; Boring, untrue, irrelevant? Who is Jesus?  Why did Jesus die?  What about the Holy Spirit?  Why and how should I pray?  Why and how should I read the Bible?  There is no cost for the course, and you are encouraged to bring a friend along. Please look for the next sign up in the Narthex, especially if you need childcare, or call the office at 582-9537.

Our mission: Adult Christian Education is one of our cornerstone ministries and the core responsibility of the CE Ministry team. In the last few years this program has undergone a restructuring in order to achieve an educational and spiritual growth environment that better supports the changing needs for our growing congregation. We have developed a three year curriculum with a variety of foundational Bible studies, theology, history, culture, training, human relationship and life skills focused classes. In each of these categories we hope to offer from basic, introductory and low time commitment classes to advanced in-depth studies that require a high level of time commitment.
