THE LAST THINGS A course that addresses the difficult and sometimes controversial themes of eschatology: the end of history and coming of the kingdom of God. This class will start January 17 at 7:00 p.m. Sign up on the Information Island.
QUILTS FOR OUR HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS We want to wrap each of our high school seniors in a cozy quilt on Senior Recognition Sunday to symbolize the love and warmth of our congregation as they head out into the world. Your financial donations will help us buy the fabric. A table is in the Narthex so you may donate to this cause.
CUPCAKES FOR KIDS Several of our Trailseeker boys have birthdays in the next few months. If you would like to help with taking cupcakes to on these boys, please sign up at the Information Island.
“DINNERS FOR 6+2” This is your opportunity to get to know more folks from our First Pres family. There are four dinners scheduled over four months, for up to 8 people. Hosts and various parts of the dinner rotate. More information and signups are at the Information Island.
BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKS The second Sunday of every month we will be offering blood pressure checks after the first service in the Bride’s Room.
MISSION AUCTION Saturday, March 3rd at 5:30 p.m. in First Pres Center. Think about what you might donate in the way of services and treasures. Donation forms are available at the Information Island and in the office. Fill them out and return them as soon as possible.

WOMEN’S RETREAT – Save the date for a "SeaSide Escape" – April 27-29, 2012, at Menucha Retreat Center in Corbett, Oregon. Brochures with registrations in them are available at the Information Island. Fill in the registration form and return it to the church office as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.
ORCAS ISLAND ENCAMPMENT We are beginning to form our team! We need kitchen help, cabin leaders, a nurse, people to help with recreation and crafts, and
more. The camp will be held June 17-22. If you would like to join us in ministering to 42 little boys, please sign up at the Information Island.
FRIDAY PRAYER TIME is the Prayer Room begins at 11:30 a.m. and lasts about an hour. Come 15-20 minutes early to share conversation and concerns. Join us as often as you can to lift our church, community and nation in prayer. Coming on your lunch break? Can’t stay the whole time? Bring you brown bag and come as you can
