Christian Education

The purpose of Christian Education at First Pres is to help our church family learn about and understand that we are saved by grace, through faith.  Our sins are forgiven (we are saved from sin) by God graciously forgiving us even though we don't deserve it (by God's grace) through Jesus' death on the cross (and our faith or belief that this is true).  We also want to guide and encourage each other as wee deepen our commitment to God, and to have a great time doing it.  We think it is important to understand what it means to live a Christian life in what we say, do, and believe. 

First Pres has educational opportunities for all ages, from babies to adults, so that everyone can learn and grow together.

Christian Education is everyone's responsibility. As a church, we want to help parents raise their children to follow Jesus by providing classes and activities all the way through to the teen years. We also offer a wide range of classes for adults on a variety of topics and days of the week.
