Elders

In the Presbyterian tradition, church members elect ruling elders, leaders who are responsible for helping everyone in our church family grow in their faith, and encouraging them in worship, service, mission and care.  The elders make up the Session (in some churches this is called a governing board; similar to a board of directors), which consists of the pastors and fifteen ruling elders who are elected for a three-year term.  Each elder also leads one of the Ministry Teams.
